Who I am…

Who I am…

Here’s a little glimpse into me, I’ve nothing to hide, and much to share.

I’m a country girl at heart, with over fifty years of life woven into the tapestry of who I am. The open air and countryside are where I feel most at home, amidst the whispering trees and rolling hills (not to mention lots of mud, puddles and the occasional flood!). I’ve always had a deep love for all animals and wildlife, and my pet dogs are more than just companions—they often become a source of comfort to my clients during their therapy sessions.

I believe in the healing power of nature, which is why I sometimes introduce my clients to my horse. This experience isn’t just about meeting an animal; it’s about creating a space of neutral territory, where fresh air revitalizes our senses and fosters calmer, more open conversations. I’ve found that in this setting, thoughts and discussions can flow more freely, helping us explore deeper aspects of ourselves.

My journey as a mother to two grown children has been filled with the ups and downs typical of raising a family. Watching them navigate the trials of teenage years and blossom into warm, creative individuals has been one of my greatest joys. Their robust spirits and capacity for love continually inspire me.

Creativity runs through my veins. Inspired by everything I see, I dabble in gardening, home interiors, handicrafts, painting, and pottery. I have an eclectic taste, cherishing many beloved mementos from my ancestors, drawing inspiration from their lives and achievements. I admire beautiful designs and artworks, respecting the stories and quality they represent.

Growing up in a rural village, surrounded by power stations, coal mines, and agriculture, I’ve experienced the full spectrum of life’s peaks and troughs. Having gone through divorce, I now find myself in the loving embrace of my second husband, my soulmate and best friend. Together, we share everything, and his presence brings an unparalleled sense of ease and joy to my life.

I’m in a wonderful place now, understanding deeply the journey that led me here. My studies, training, and love for people have equipped me with the tools and empathy needed to help others. This isn’t just my profession; it’s my life, my calling, and I am here to guide you on your path to finding your own peace and happiness.
