How my Journey Began

Hello there,

I want to share something with you that's close to my heart. You see, finding happiness in life often comes down to living truthfully, caring for yourself and your loved ones, and seeking personal fulfillment. So, let me be honest with you.

I may not have completed my counseling training with a university degree, and I'm not a doctor. But I am a qualified counselor and hypnotherapist. How did I get here, you might wonder? Well, my journey began in the mid-1990s. I worked in Victim Support, collaborating with the police in refugee situations at airports, and also assisted crime victims in their homes and at court. It was challenging but incredibly fulfilling work. However, my path took a turn when I discovered I was expecting my second child during my university placement. Soon, we welcomed a healthy baby boy into our lives, and my career as a therapist wove through the years of raising my family.

I've always been deeply curious about how our minds work, about love, pain, our behaviors, and how to lead a happier life. These thoughts have been my constant companions.

Life hasn't been easy. Raising my children brought more challenges and stress than I ever anticipated. But through these struggles, I learned valuable lessons about myself and others, lessons that books alone couldn't have taught me. I understand because I've lived it. My curiosity led me to explore hypnotherapy for myself, and I was so impressed that I knew I had to study it to help others as I was helped.

You know, it's often the mental or emotional pain, the kind you can't quite put a label on, that's the most damaging. I realize now that my own tough experiences, as hard as they were, equipped me to help my clients in ways I couldn't have otherwise. Life is long, complicated, and often unforgiving. We all carry burdens, but you don't have to carry yours alone. You don't have to face your pain by yourself.

For the past few years, I've been providing private therapy, and it's been an incredibly rewarding journey. Helping clients discover their strength and potential is a privilege I hold dear. This work isn't just a job to me; it's a calling, a vocation.

I'm here for you, to help guide you through your journey. Let's walk this path together.
